DESCRIPTION:On July 23rd\, in collaboration with SHOUT!\, Licentia & the Pa
	rkdale Activity and\nRecreation Centre\, 9 MILLION\, S.H.I.T.\, SIYAHKAL\,
	 DUCHESS & DIATRIBE are going\nto play\, in Parkdale\, at Parkdale Hall\, 
	with MEG REMY of US GIRLS DJing between\nacts.\n\nPARC has been a force in
	 Parkdale for approaching 50 years. They have spent\nthose years providing
	 support for people facing mental health and substance use\nchallenges\, h
	omelessness\, poverty\, and food insecurity. They provide two hot\nmeals a
	 day\, housing support\, employment support and\, most importantly\,\ncomm
	unity.\n\nPARC are literal neighbors of many of the people playing this sh
	ow.\n\nRecently\, as PARC has been focussed on expanding its affordable ho
	using\nprograms\, it has come under fire from people who consider them a b
	light\, and\nwould rather see them closed. The enemies of PARC\, are the e
	nemies of the Safe\nConsumption Sites\, are the enemies Encampments\, are 
	the enemies of dignity and\nhumanity.\n\nSo\, all proceeds from this event
	 will be going to PARC - to support their\ninitiatives and to continue the
	ir good fight.\n\nBeyond the proceeds\, and the reason this is happening i
	n Parkdale\, this is meant\nas a true show of support\, by the community f
	or the community. There are more of\nus\, than there are of them. This is 
	a great way to prove it\, with numbers.\n\nIt’s so easy to feel powerless 
	right now. To this feeling\, we must not concede.\nAs always\, we advise g
	etting together with your people.\n\nTickets are on sale now. The fine fol

	ay the mandatory tax + credit card processing.\n\nThere are $30 tickets\, 
	$20 tickets for students\, and a $60 pay-it-forward ticket\nthat will allo
