CEREMONY return to Toronto, September 10th!
Our kinship with CEREMONY extends far back to what was ostensibly NDY006. Consider us ecstatic any time our old friends from California trek across the continent to play Toronto. Since their last stop here in 2022, at the old 1978 space, the band has claimed that California crown - with explosive sets at Sound & Fury and a sold out celebration of their iconic Rohnert Park LP at the Palladium in Los Angeles.
This time they return with their seventh LP, "Tell Me Your Dream" - a record that sees them hew closer to those hardcore punk roots, the same ones that have never really escaped their live sets. Taught intensity, jagged guitars, driving rhythms. Truly a band that must be seen live to truly be understood.
On this leg of the tour, they'll be joined by Toronto's S.H.I.T., Philadelphia's POISON RUIN & Bay Area spiritual sons WORLD PEACE. All this in the basement of the East End United Should be a barnburner, we think.
