HERES A LITTLE BIT OF WHAT THE RECORD IS ABOUT:

In 1976, a 16-year old patient at the Whitby psychiatric hospital set fire to a massive barn on the hospital grounds. 60 minutes later, the barn was burned to the ground. “I Built This Prison Myself” imagines the boy behind the fire, not as a symbol of destruction, but as a young person confronting fear, powerlessness, control, and the hope to remain himself. It is a record about fighting fire with fire. What if the parts of yourself others think are broken are the most worth protecting?
