Solitary Shrew Presents: A fundraiser for Toronto Indigenous Harm Reduction featuring Ever Since We Met & Public Library
Each instalment of Solitary Shrew features performances led by women and/or non-binary artists. This month features Ever Since We Met (acoustic emo) and Public Library (punk free jazz) in support of Toronto Indigenous Harm Reduction (TIHR).
From TIHR:
"With your donations we will continue to provide our continuous night and bike outreach and help to purchase and distribute supplies for Indigenous survivors such as cultural/ ceremonial items and food, electrolytes and ensure, harm reduction kits, monetary support, gift cards, clothing, sleeping bags, medical supplies, socks and other accessories like tarps, tents, firewood, and portable lamps. The donations also contribute to emergency travel costs across our traditional territories for Indigenous people in vulnerable situations, and in cases of bereavement. Your support also provides us with travel and logistical support across the city to continue harm reduction and health promotion practices that are desperately needed right now more than ever."
Hope to see you there!
P.S. - It's on my birthday so you have to come :)
